Since our church was founded in 1973 by Pastor Leobardo Macias Maffey we have been preaching the name of Jesus and believing on Him for the forgiveness of our sins. We believe wholeheartedly in the move of the Holy Spirit and water baptism in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38).

In 1994 Leobardo Avalos Maffey was called to Pastor Sion House of prayer and continues to do so today. Like His father, Pastor Maffey passionately teaches and preaches scripture directly from the complete Word of God.

By the grace of God our church has seen the  lives of hundreds of people be transformed by Christ. We have been humbled to be used by God to train up teachers, ministers, pastors and bishops.
